¨ Laurel Golf Club requires men to wear a collared shirt. ¨ Tournament format is a scramble. All team members will hit the ball on every shot. The best shot will be selected; the other balls will then be picked up. The next shot will be played from the position of the previous best shot. ¨ The “A” player will keep score and record whose drive was used on all holes. ¨ Men will use the White tee box. Ladies may use the red tee box. ALL players will use the White tee box on Par 3 holes. ¨ The team must use at least one of each player’s drives per 9 holes. ¨ A single team member will not be allowed more than 2 consecutive best balls except they may play consecutive shots on Par 3 holes. ¨ When balls are placed for hitting from the best ball position by the other team members, they must be within 24” of the original lie on fairways and rough and within 6” on greens. No shots or putts will be positioned any closer to the pin than the original shot. ¨ If all four tee shots go out of bounds the team may take the point of exit of the best shot and add 1 penalty stroke. However, the ball may not be dropped more than 10’ from the point of exit and no closer to the pin. ¨ One team Mulligan may be used per 9 holes (total of 2 Mulligans per 18 holes). [Mulligans were included in your registration fee!] ¨ When using a Mulligan, each team member takes a second shot. A Mulligan may be used anywhere on the course except for tee-to-green on Par 3 holes. Any Mulligan used entitles all four players to make the shot. ¨ Putt everything out. No “Gimmies”. ¨ If your team is short one player due to no-shows, take the fourth shot on a rotational basis. Each player must then use at least 3 drives on 18 holes. |
